If you answered YES to any of these questions, and are a woman* between the ages of 14-19, then the Charis Young Women* Writers Group is for you!
|
The Charis Young Women Writers Group is open to all young women writers ages 14-19. This facilitated group is a fun, safe, and supportive place for girls to share their voices and stretch their storytelling muscles. The writing group began in 1997 as a way to encourage girls at some of the most difficult moments in their lives, their teen years. When so much in our culture encourages girls to be silent, we believe in helping young women see the power and value of their words, ideas, and lives.
We invite young women of all skill levels and abilities to stop in and see if the group works for them. Our activities are always changing and we
always enjoy seeing new faces! The group meets on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month from 5-6:15pm. *Trans-inclusive |
